Our founder started off in Sales Performance Management arena in January 1995, when he joined a small company (Synygy) as a 7th employee. Immediately he was tasked with Implementing the Sales Incentive Compensation management system for Schering-Plough. The incentive plan was for over 2,000 sales team members and for the first time going to be run on a monthly basis!
He implemented the system in around two months using combination of FoxPro tables and Excel (for calculations and reporting). Over the next 11 years he helped Synygy grow to over 500 people and worked with over 30 customers across Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Financial Services (Banks, Mortgage, and Insurance), Technology, and Manufacturing. He worked in helping clients in sales team sizing and alignment (Territory Management), Quota setting, and Sales Compensation/Incentive Management.
